Wilderness First Responder Certification and Re-certification
For outdoor professionals and enthusiasts, each summer Yosemite Institute offers certification and re-certification courses for first-responders, in conjunction with the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI).
Wilderness First Responder is a nationally recognized program, developed by the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) at NOLS, the National Outdoor Leadership School. Courses are scenario-based. Emphasis is placed on prevention and decision-making, not the
memorization of lists.
Dates: August 11 - 20, 2008
Tuition: $685 for course only
$995 for course and lodging
