Staff Profile
Kasha Frese serves as the first-ever marketing strategy manager at Yosemite National Institutes (YNI). She created the organization's first cohesive branding strategy, based on marketing audits, focus groups, competitive analysis and interviews with program leaders. She then developed a family of compelling communications materials, including printed collateral, website design and e-communications for the 3 campuses and national office fundraising, sales, education and community relations. She recently launched online stores for the campuses. By leveraging information in the stores' sales database, YNI will significantly grow their pool of donor prospects for the first time in more than 10 years.
Kasha Frese is the principal advisor on media, communications and marketing issues for senior leadership and the board and provides ongoing input on fundraising strategies. She has led or assisted launches of new services and products, including this website. She has led cross-campus direct marketing campaigns to eliminate sales gaps and co-authored YNI's winning proposal for $750,000 from the National Park Service's Centennial Initiative.
Prior to her work with YNI, Kasha Frese led award-winning marketing campaigns that significantly increased referrals and awareness for the womens, childrens and oncology service lines at the Cleveland Clinic, one of the nations top 3 according to U.S. News & World Report. She is associate vice president of meetings for the San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association and lives in a creative, thriving houseboat community just outside Sausalito.
